Chidambaram’s thriller Balan: The Boy continued its solid run at the box office on its opening Sunday. The film showed healthy growth on its third day of release, setting the best single-day ratings since its release. According to Sacnilk, the thriller earned a net revenue of Rs 300 crore on Sunday, up 27.7% from the Rs 235 crore it earned on the second day.
India’s net income reaches Rs 717 crore
Balan: The Boy has now collected Rs 717 crore nett at the box office in India. Three days after its release, the film’s total box office revenue in India reached 8.31 crore rupees.The thriller opened with a net box office of Rs 182 crore on Friday. The amount raised rose to Rs 23.5 crore on Saturday and further climbed to Rs 300 crore on Sunday.The film’s attendance rate on the first day reached 28.7%. The next day, this number rose to 38.3%, and further rose to 45.1% on the third day.

Of the Rs 300 crore net collection recorded on Sunday, the Malayalam version accounted for Rs 290 crore. The language version also achieved an impressive 52% attendance rate across 1,002 performances.The Tamil version earned Rs 5 lakh, while the Telugu version added Rs 4 lakh. The Hindi version contributed Rs 1 lakh.The overall occupancy rate in Malayalam reached 54.05% on the third day. The occupancy rate of the morning show reached 29.25%. The ratings for the afternoon show climbed to 60.08%. The evening program had the highest turnout at 64.42%. Attendance for night shows also remained stable at 52.75%.On the third day, Kerala generated a total revenue of Rs 265 crore. Karnataka followed with an allocation of Rs 35 lakh. Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 23 lakh and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Rs 10 lakh.
