Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar Nearly 22 years later, they recently reunited on screen for “Welcome to the Jungle,” which opens in theaters on Friday. Looking back on their recent collaboration, Raveena has nothing but admiration for her former costar, praising his unwavering dedication and work ethic.In an interview to ANI, the actor said that even though many years have passed since they last worked together, Akshay Kumar is still the loyal professional he remembers from his earlier films.“I think it’s great to work with him after all these years. He hasn’t changed a thing. He’s hardworking and focused. He’s so dedicated and you can see the hard work. All the success he’s had is he deserves it because he works really hard. He doesn’t get it easily. He works really hard. I mean, no one is as focused on a set as he is. “Raveena and Akshay have starred together in several films over the years, including “Mohra”, “Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi”, “Daava”, “Keemat: They Are Back” and “Barood”. Of their collaborations, “Mohra” and “Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi” remain their biggest commercial successes.“Mohra” was released in 1994, directed by and starring Rajiv Rai Nasiruddin Shah and Suniel Shetty in a pivotal role. Two years later, the two reunited in Umesh Mehra’s Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, which also starred Rekha and became another box-office hit.
