The paid preview of the Akshay Kumar-starrer was held a day before its official theatrical release. The film earned Rs 375 crore from paid previews. According to Sacnilk, the film opened 10,892 times and collected Rs 15 crore at the box office.Thus, India’s net revenue totaled Rs 1,875 crore, while India’s total revenue stood at Rs 2,250 crore. The film collected Rs 650 crore at the overseas box office, taking its global box office collection to Rs 29 crore.The overall occupancy rate of “Welcome to the Jungle” on the first day of its opening was 26.46%.
