Supergirl Review

Milly Alcock in Supergirl

“Supergirl” is expected to gross $55 million.

ET Times’ review of the superhero movie said: “A riveting, heartfelt superhero adventure story that at first seems ordinary, even unambitious, but gradually reveals an emotional depth that is haunting. In a genre increasingly weighed down by spectacle and excess, it stands out by staying simple and human. “In addition, Millie Alcock’s performance was also praised, with reviews saying that her performance in the film was excellent, “She conveys Kara’s underlying anger and lingering heartbreak with extraordinary conviction, making her the beating heart of the film. She internalizes the trauma of losing her childhood and being forced to grow up too fast.” Beneath the shaggy hair, acerbic humor and reckless bravado lies a young woman desperately searching for home, longing for the innocence and tenderness that life has prematurely robbed her of.David Corronthwaite also returns for many scenes in Superman, which is a welcome addition to the film.Disclaimer: The box office numbers and data in this article were obtained from various public and industry sources.
