Video that appeared on the Internet on Wednesday showed the couple arriving at the monastery in simple outfits and both wearing masks.The visit comes just weeks after the couple sought blessings at the same ashram royal challengers Bengaluru’s memorable IPL win over Gujarat Titans. Kohli, who played a key role in RCB’s campaign, was also accompanied by Anushka on that spiritual journey.Virat and Anushka were known for their regular visits to Vrindavan, where they often sought spiritual guidance from Premanand Maharaj, often seeking his teachings on balancing fame, success and life outside of the public spotlight.Looking back at RCB’s title-winning run after their IPL win, Kohli praised the team’s overall balance and depth. “All the batsmen have come on as well. I’m happy to be playing in a team where we have balance, we have strength, we are an all-round strong team and that’s why we are full of confidence on the field now,” he said.The batting maestro also admitted that the atmosphere ahead of this final was markedly different to last season, something he attributed to the team’s confidence in their abilities. “I said to a few of the boys that it doesn’t feel like there was as much pressure as last year; we know the quality we have in the team,” he said.“We are top of the table; we are here in the first place for a reason and we just say one thing – if we stick to our cricket, if we execute our plan, we are the best team in the competition and that’s why we have done so well so far. In the group stage we ended up at the top of the league and the skill we have, the maturity and composure of the players was on display again tonight.
