Responding to the controversy, Akshay said the success of a film ultimately depends on its destiny.“If that’s the fate of this movie, it’s going to be successful no matter what,” he said.The actor then pointed to the newcomer Seiyara Ahan Pandey and Anit Padaproving that content can be successful without a carefully planned promotion.

Recalling the film, Akshay asked director Ahmed Khan, who was present at the time, to remind him of the film’s title.“Recently, a movie came out about a new boy and a new girl.
