:Citroen eC3X laughed again! What to expect from the modified Punch EV competition |

Citroen has released a teaser for its upcoming refreshed electric hatchback. The updated model is expected to be called the eC3X, following the French brand’s revised strategy already established on models such as the C3X, Aircross X and Basalt X.The latest teaser shows that the electric hatchback will receive a facelift. While the overall silhouette is expected to remain familiar, the revised model will feature a revised front bumper along with a silver skid-plate element. Citroen is also expected to upgrade the lighting package by introducing LED DRLs and LED fog lights, instead of the simple setup offered on the current eC3.Other exterior changes may include a new set of dual-spoke wheels and revised rearview mirrors with integrated shift indicators. The cabin could also benefit from a few extras. The car maker can provide leather steering wheel and dashboard parts, as well as ambient lighting. Features such as climate control, cruise control with speed limiter, high-speed USB Type-C ports and a rearview mirror are also expected to be added. The existing 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system needs to be improved. It is expected to continue to offer wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top models can also get a 360-degree camera and a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster.Under the skin, the updated electric hatchback is not expected to receive major mechanical revisions. The EC3X is supposed to keep the existing 29.2 kWh battery paired with an electric motor that produces 57 PS and 143 Nm of torque. Citroen currently drives cars around 320 km on one charge, while the top speed is 107 km / h.Once launched, the refreshed Citroen eC3X will continue to compete in India’s growing electric vehicle market, taking on rivals such as the Tata Punch EV and the recently redesigned Tiago EV.
