Qualifications, selection process and salary scaleCandidates applying for Technician Class III must have completed matriculation examination or SSLC in the relevant trade and ITI or Act Apprenticeship. For Signal Technician Level 1, in addition to technical qualifications, diploma or degree qualifications may also apply.The selection process will include Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification and medical examination. The post of Signal Technician I falls under the fifth salary band with a starting salary of Rs 29,200; the post of Grade III Technician falls under the second wage band with a starting salary of Rs 19,900.This recruitment is open in Indian Railways and candidates have to apply online through the official RRB portal within the stipulated time.
