In a recent interview, the actress, known for her roles in “Chucky,” “Pizza Movie” and “You’re So Not Invited to My Bar Mitzvah,” was candid about her admiration for the music legend. She even revealed that the singer joked with her when they first met on the set of Saturday Night Live.

The actress explained what it was like meeting her idol in an interview with People at the fifth annual Las Culturistas Cultural Awards at the Union Theater in Los Angeles. In past appearances on Saturday Night Live, she’s mentioned multiple times that her signature mullet was inspired by McCartney.When they finally get a chance to interact in later episodes, it’s the first thing he notices. Sherman recalled, “So, basically I was talking about how I had a mullet from his Wings days, so he came up to me after the show and he pulled on my mullet and he said, ‘Is this real or is it a wig?'”She laughed and told him it was real and it was her own hair.Sherman later posted the moment on social media, joking that she would never wash her mullet again. She also discussed the incident on Jimmy Kimmel Live! , the host commented: “I think there are very few people who would be pulled away from The Beatles.”To this, the “Pizza Movie” actress jokingly replied: “Honey, he can do whatever he wants to me.”

Flatter me. Flatter me. ‘”Sherman has been a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live since joining the sketch comedy show in 2021.
