Tata Motors has also teased the Punch HBX, indicating that a compact version of its popular Micro SUV may be launched soon. The travel-focused brand has reappeared on the company’s official website and social media, months after it was unveiled earlier this year. The brand, however, has not announced a launch date or bookings open yet.

The Punch HBX was introduced in early 2026 as a more complex version of the iconic Punch. This edition focuses on visual rather than mechanical upgrades.The exterior receives several updates to give it a more rugged look. It features all-terrain tires wrapped in black 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, chunky front and rear bumpers with Armor Guard skid plates, and custom alloy wheels. Tata also added Armor Guard, black roof and ORVMs, silver inserts on the front bumper, rear spoiler for the air shield, and a roof rack. Inside, this cabin is expected to be unchanged compared to the regular Punch. The list of items can be canceled without any additions.As for the engine, this trim will use Tata’s 1.2-liter iTurbo petrol engine, which produces 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.The standard Tata Punch facelift is already on sale in India at prices ranging from Rs 5.65 lakh to Rs 10.60 lakh, ex-showroom. However, the Punch HBX has so far been presented as an accessible concept. Details about its production plans, prices and opening times are expected to be revealed at a later date.
