The Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC) will release the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 admit card tomorrow, June 30. Candidates who have registered for the exam can now visit the official website upessc.up.gov.in to download the exam venue tickets.The UPTET exam 2026 will be held on July 2, 3 and 4 at exam centers in Uttar Pradesh. Previously, the committee issued a notice of examination cities to help candidates plan their travels in advance.
UPTET 2026 Exam detail
The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts over three days.
- Paper 1 is suitable for candidates who want to become teachers of grades 1 to 5.
- Paper II is suitable for candidates who wish to teach grades 6 to 8.
- Candidates who want to teach both primary and upper primary classes must appear for two papers.
UPTET is the Uttar Pradesh government and government-sponsored qualifying test for recruitment of primary and higher secondary teachers. However, passing the exam does not guarantee a teaching job. This is one of the mandatory eligibility requirements to participate in future teacher recruitment conducted by the state government.UPTET qualification certificate is valid for life.

After downloading the admission ticket, candidates should carefully check all the information printed on the admission ticket. Hall tickets will include:
