Sonakshi Sinha Throughout her career, personal fulfillment has been more important than the constant pursuit of projects. The actor said she had just received recognition from “The System” and was now choosing roles that fueled her creativity rather than taking on films for external recognition. Looking back on her journey, Sonakshi admits that she is in no rush and adds that even if the right script takes time to arrive, she is very satisfied with her life.
Make choosing meaningful roles a priority
Over the past few years, Sonakshi has consciously gravitated towards roles with greater emotional depth. Be it playing a fearless cop in “Dahaad”, a prostitute in “Heeramandi” or a lawyer in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s “System”, the actor believes that the choices she makes now reflect her own growth.In an interview with HT City, when asked if the shift towards stronger female-led stories was intentional, Sonakshi replied: “One hundred per cent. I think every project I choose is only getting better and better because it just comes down to what brings me joy and satisfaction as an actor now. I have had a lot of projects in my career and it has been an amazing journey. I don’t regret anything. Sometimes you do a film to please other people or for many different reasons.”
Sonakshi says she no longer feels pressure to continue working
The actor explained that her perspective on work has changed a lot over the years. Now, instead of signing projects just to stay busy, she’s waiting for the stories that really resonate with her. If those opportunities don’t come right away, she easily takes a step back and enjoys her personal life.Sharing her perspective, Sonakshi said, “In my life, I just do it for myself and just do things that make me happy.
